CCV 2017-18
Visual identity/institutional communication
Primarily: film programmes
● My collaboration with the thriving Cine Clube de Viseu began in 2017. My role is to contribute graphic design to communication strategies, but being part of such a collective also involves a form of civic militancy — perhaps activist — which requires many other tasks, some more occasional than others.
● Speaking of graphic design... After a few projects, mostly related to promoting the regular programming — thematic film series —, feeling my way between the sensitivities of the board and those of the audience, with experimental results but fundamentally driven by a certain revivalism of graphic aesthetics and techniques from previous decades, it is from September of that year that I refine something closer to an identity for a season of film programmes.

Fulfilling the goal of inviting a CCV member to create the image illustrating the CNC communication, this year we worked with Vanessa Crystie.
