●           This edition brings together essays on cinema and colonialism, carried out by various researchers, presented in over a dozen sessions featuring films from the «Colonial Collection» of the Cinemateca Portuguesa-Museu do Cinema. In an exercise of collaborative work, and to promote cinema as a space for reflection on diverse artistic and social fields, here is the edition coordinated by Maria do Carmo Piçarra, to remain in open access, which received publishing support from the Cine Clube de Viseu. Beyond promotion, this support consisted of the layout and graphic execution work that I developed.
