●           Visual identity for the band Lcomandante & General, whose sound blends elements of new wave, synthpop, glam rock, electropop, electroclash and Portuguese popular music. Itʼs the stage name for when Cláudio Teixeira (vocals, poems, guitar) and Filipe Zaben Almeida (synthesisers and machinery) take over the house. The desired aesthetic — garish, queer, artificial, flamboyant and somewhat punk — was meant to match the already assumed attire and performative style. At times, our posters carry a trace of our relationship with the band: as true groupies, some versions have miniature crumpled portraits, smudged with lipstick kisses, as if they had been carried around in our pockets, so devoted we are.
