vistacurta 2017
Event
Short film festival
● vistacurta (short sight) is a critical proposal for gatherings around cinema and the region, organised by the Cine Clube de Viseu as a broad and festive extension of its regular programming, with a focus on promoting local productions and talent. An annual event since 2010 dedicated to screening short films, vistacurta has over its first decade become a festival with competitive sections (local and national), feature film premieres, meetings with directors, workshops and masterclasses, exhibitions and concerts, among other activities, lasting one week in Autumn.
● My first collaboration with the festival was in 2017. The graphic motif for this edition stemmed from a very subjective interpretation of city postcards — something very, letʼs say, municipal. In the videos I use a track by Pedrokas aka deidra corp. called «Rússia DMV».
